All members, Men and Women in all flights, A, B, C, or D may play from either the “BACK” or “FORWARD” tees.
We use rated tee box locations for each course for accurate handicap calculations. All course handicaps are adjusted based on the tees played.
We ENCOURAGE higher handicap players (more than about 20 Handicap – B, C, and D Flights) to play from the “FORWARD” tees. With shorter drives, and closer approaches you will have more fun, less frustration, and faster play.
Our “BACK” tees are located for between 5600 to 6100 total yards. For most courses these are the “WHITE” tees.
The “FORWARD” tees are the first group ahead of the “BACK” tees. For most courses these are the “RED” or “YELLOW/GOLD” tees. These are typically about 5200 yards, but range from 4850 to almost 5800 yards.
