Links to Course Scorecards – 2017
Following is a summary of links to course scorecards. These are “informational” to help prepare for the season. You can refresh your memory of the courses.
The document has hot links to take you directly to that page. The scorecard page also has links for more information about each course. If you are interested in other courses, you can search courses by state and city (click here).
These are from the OOBGOLF.COM site. They feature a full scorecard with a plan of each hole. These are also offered in a standardized view that is easy on the eyes.
Although they appear complete they are not “official” course scorecards. A few of the forward tee colors, and some of the forward tee stats for Men are not included in these scorecards. However, for MSLSGA “Regular (or Back”) tees, most of the yardages, ratings and slopes match or are a very close match for the MSLSGA official stats.
Many of our scheduled courses will have website, run and internet search on the course name and location. An image of the course scorecard is sometimes available. However, in several cases, the course websites show scorecards that are outdated or simply in error. Example – Crystal Springs is showing a scorecard from a Houston TX course.
Metro St. Louis Seniors Golf Association statistics assembled by the Handicap Committee will be our official source for Tees and Colors, Yardages, Ratings, and Slope for scoring and handicap calculations. These will be available on the website before the 2017 Season begin.
Course Directions Updated for 2017 Season
The course directions are not reset for the 2018 season for Weekly Tournaments and the Special Events Tournaments.
Something good to do on an cold winter day. Look them over, print them out and stuff a copy into your golf bag.
Only 13 weeks before the season begins.

Sixty is Nifty – 2017 Courses and Holes Announced
Frank Mantia, Chair Special Events, has announced the Courses and holes for the 2017 version of the Sixty is Nifty Season Long Challenge.
Membership General Meeting Reminder – Tues, Nov 15, 2016 1 PM
Members are encouraged to attend the General Membership Meeting this Tuesday, November 15, 2016. The meeting will start at 1:00 PM at the Kirkwood Community Center on Geyer Road.
Come to meet, thank and confirm your leadership (officers and committee members). In addition:
- Visit with Golf Buddies
- Renew your membership (in person or use online registration)
- Bring a new member for sign up
- Find out about the 2017 Schedule
- Weekly Tournaments
- Special Events.
- Rule Changes – All Flights can Chose Forward or Back Tees
- Sign up for Starter / Scorers for 2017
- Volunteer for Committee or possible Board / Officer Positions
Art Harszy Wins $344 in Season Long 50/50 Pot
Art Harszy from Division 4 from $344 from the 50/50 pot. The 50/50 drawing was held at the last season Special Event at Annbriar.
Thanks to all who participated.
The Association funds raised from the 50/50 will be used for covering a portion of our operations expenses (office and storage, supplies, mailing, website, meeting rooms).
2016 Championship – Information Sheet – Latest Details
Frank Mantia has issued the final Information Sheet Summary for the 2016 Metro St. Louis Seniors Golf Championship.
Please arrive in plenty of time to register and be ready to play. We are expecting great weather and hope that Bear Creek will be in top form.
2016 Association Championship Lists Announced
CONGRATS TO ALL OUR CHAMPIONSHIP GOLFERS!
The official list of 2016 Championship Qualifiers has been released. Please look over the list and congratulate your buddies who are 2016 Qualifiers.
If you are on the list, please make sure to contact Frank Mantia, the leader of the Championship Tournament to confirm your attendance. If you cannot attend, we will add the next alternate qualifiers to the Tournament.
