Division 9, Wednesday League
Conducts one or two nine-hole tournaments at Riverside Golf Club every Wednesday. Registration is from 6:30 am to 8:30 am. Tournament play begins typically in mid-March to mid-November.
Membership
- Any registered members of Division 1 – 5 can join / play in Division 9
- Membership in only Division 9 requires an annual membership fee of $20 – Div 9 Membership Application
- One-time $2 fee payable on first round played by all members (Div 1-5 and Div 9)
- $1 entry fee required for each Tournament Flight and Closest-To-Pin Prizes
- $100 Hole-In-One and Double Eagle Prizes available from MSLSGA
Weekly Tournament Competition
Riverside Golf Course is flat and contained, and typically set up for approximately 2,500 yards for each nine hole tournament. The Division 9 Tournament Competition is on the front and/or back nine holes. But you may play on for as many holes as you like.
Handicaps
Division 9 handicaps are based solely on Wednesday League play.
- Weekly handicaps are average of the 5 lowest tournament rounds of the last 6 rounds played, based on 100% of the difference from par.
- Three rounds must be played to establish a Division 9 handicap and qualify for tournament prizes (except for closest to the pin).
- Score will not be used in figuring handicaps if the tournament was not entered.
- Division 9 Handicaps are updated and posted weekly. (Scores are not included in Div 1-5 Handicaps)
Golf Fees
- $12 for 9 or 18 hole walkers with their own cart
- $14 or $16 with a rental walking cart, and
- $17 or $21 respectively for 9 and 18 hole riders.
